Netflix's new documentary The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann has been slammed by critics for being 'exploitative'.
The eight-hour series featured more than 40 contributors and used 120 hours of archive footage, re-enactments and interviews to tell the story of Madeleine McCann, who disappeared from her family's holiday apartment in Portugal in 2007.
Madeleine's parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, were not involved. They voiced their concerns that the documentary could hinder the ongoing police investigation into their daughter's disappearance.
Gordon Hayden and Jennifer Gannon joined us for our weekly TV slot and gave their thoughts on the documentary.
They also discussed Alan Partridge singing 'Come Out, Ye Black and Tans' in the latest episode of his comeback series, and the need for more emotional support for reality TV contestants after the recent death of Love Island's Mike Thalassitis.
