Two young women who went missing off the Galway coast while paddleboarding have been found alive, 17 miles from where they were last seen.
Ellen Glynn and Sara Feeney, who are cousins, were found clinging to a lobster pot by a local fisherman about two miles from Inis Oírr.
They are believed to have survived in the water for 15 hours.
Mike Swan, Lifeboat Operations Manager with the RNLI in Galway, spoke to us about the search and rescue.
