Michael Cohen, Donald Trump's former personal lawyer, today delivered an explosive testimony before Congress.
Cohen branded the US President "a racist, a conman and a cheat" and said that, while he has both good and bad traits, he had "become the worst version of himself" since taking office.
"Donald Trump is a man who ran for office to make his brand great, not to make our country great."
Among the claims Cohen made about Trump's conduct while he worked for him were that the President asked him to pay off an adult film star with whom he had an affair, and to lie to his wife about it, and that he had directed Cohen to threaten his high school and colleges to never release his grades.
In December, Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison for tax crimes, campaign finance violations and lying to Congress. His sentence is due to begin in May.
Will this testimony have any impact on Trump's position as President?
