McDonald's Corporation announced on Sunday that it had fired its Chief Executive, Steve Easterbrook, over a recent ‘consensual relationship’ with an employee. The company deemed that the relationship violated its company policy.
Easterbrook was chief executive of the fast food giant since 2015. In a statement made by the company, it said that Easterbrook had “demonstrated poor judgment” for being involved in a relationship with the employee.
