Enda O'Doherty is a motivational speaker, endurance athlete and assistant principal at De La Salle College in Waterford.
His new book, I'm Fine! Thoughts on Life, Addiction, Love and Health, was co-written with Dermot Keyes and takes readers on a journey through the highs and lows of his life, dealing with depression and anxiety as well as alcoholism.
He also carried a washing machine from Belfast to Waterford in 2015, and then up Mount Kilimanjaro in 2017, in aid of the suicide prevention charity Pieta House.
Enda joined us on The Last Word to discuss how he turned his life around and the importance of talking openly about mental health and addiction.
