RTÉ today announced that it is planning to cut 200 jobs as part of a major restructuring of the state broadcaster.
In a move to try and reduce costs at RTÉ, top presenters will take a 15% pay cut and it's studio in Limerick close.
There was speculation that Lyric FM would close as part of the cost saving measures, however it was confirmed that the station will be saved.
Adrian Lynch, RTÉ's director of audience, channels and marketing, joined us in studio to take us through today's announcement.
