The new TV adaptation of the Sally Rooney novel Normal People, about the relationship between two teenagers from Sligo, has been causing quite a stir.

One caller named Mary likened it to a "porno movie", while another named Tommy expressed concerns about "the national broadcaster promoting fornication".
