Leo Varadkar has said that so-called wet pubs should be given the chance to reopen safely and show they can abide by the rules.
The Tánaiste told the Fine Gael parliamentary party that other countries are living with COVID-19 "better than us" and he didn't know why Ireland should be the only country in Europe where pubs are closed.
