Families across Ireland are now spending considerably more time online as technology allows us to work from home, educate our children and stay in touch with family and friends during COVID-19.
A third of internet users globally are children, and a number of groups are are today calling for child safety online to be a priority in the new programme for government.
We were joined by Tanya Ward, Chief Executive of the Children's Rights Alliance, and Alex Cooney, CEO of CyberSafeIreland, to discuss this in detail.
