An Irish couple facing the prospect of mandatory hotel quarantine with their newborn baby are seeking clarity from the government about their situation.
Sinead Gallagher-Hedderman and her husband Mark Hedderman are currently in Ukraine, where their son Theo was born to a surrogate eight days ago.
Over the weekend they learned that Ukraine was set to be added to Ireland's mandatory hotel quarantine list. They are due to fly home on Saturday but have been unable to get clarification as to whether they are exempt.
Sinead and Mark joined us on The Last Word along with their solicitor, Annette Hickey, to discuss their situation.
