India has recorded a new global high for daily coronavirus cases for a fifth straight day, at 352,991.
The country has had over 17 million total infections and 195,123 deaths, though health experts say the death count is probably far higher.
In some of the worst-hit cities, including the capital New Delhi, bodies are being cremated in makeshift facilities offering mass services.
