In last week's Tech Tuesday, Andy O'Donoghue spoke about how mobile phone tracking is being used in China to fight COVID-19.
It now seems similar measures could be introduced in Ireland, as the Business Post reports that the HSE is moving forward with plans to ask the public to opt into a tracking and tracing app.
The app would use Bluetooth to track who you've been in contact with, and identify when someone has been within two metres of a coronavirus patient for at least 30 minutes.
Andy joined us to discuss this in more detail, as well as the increase in online COVID-19 scams and data protection issues surrounding the Zoom app.
