It's been confirmed that the HSE administered 81,843 vaccine doses last week, 18,157 short of the 100,000 it had committed to delivering.
This was due to a delay in the delivery of 25,000 AstraZeneca vaccines last week and this week.
There is also concern among GPs who say many of their patients in the over-85 age group have still not been vaccinated.
