Love and Loss in a Pandemic airs on RTÉ One tonight at 9.35pm and features the stories of people who have lost loved ones to COVID-19.
Eileen O'Neill was one of the first people known to have died of COVID-19 in Ireland. The 88-year-old was diagnosed in March and passed away a week later.
Eileen's daughter, Siobhan Cullen, was by her mother's side in full PPE when she died. Her funeral was restricted to just four people, meaning her wider circle of family and friends were unable to grieve together.
Siobhan joined us on The Last Word to share her story.
