The Government has introduced significant new restrictions aimed at limiting the spread of COVID-19, as 190 new cases were confirmed today.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin announced in a press briefing that visits to homes will now be restricted to six people from no more than three different households, while outdoor gatherings will be limited to 15 people.
But will this stop house parties from happening, and will the Gardaí have more power to police them?
