GPs are now referring close contacts of positive COVID-19 cases for tests.
This will be the case until numbers are manageable for Public Health and contact tracers again. People who tested positive last weekend have been asked to do their own contact tracing due to pressure on the system, and close contacts are in turn being asked to contact their GP for referrals.
