Four people will be prosecuted for the organisation of the Oireachtas Golf Society dinner last August.
Former Fianna Fáil TD Donie Cassidy and Independent TD Noel Grealish, who served as chairman and president of the society respectively, will appear before a Galway district court.
The other two people are not public representatives but were involved in the organisation of the event.
The dinner, which was attended by 80 people, was deemed to be in breach of COVID-19 regulations.
Aoife Moore of the Irish Examiner, who broke the story with her colleague Paul Hosforth, joined us with more information.
