Fertility services have been limited since the arrival of COVID-19, creating a distressing situation for people who may be trying to have a baby.
Many have had their treatments cancelled or postponed due to concerns over the impact of COVID-19 on pregnancy and the redeployment of healthcare staff.
Dr Doireann O'Leary, GP at MyCorkGP and health blogger, joined us for our weekly medical consultation to discuss the measures that will be put in place to allow for the resumption of fertility treatment, as well as some of the causes of fertility problems and what can be done to increase the chances of conceiving.
