The Government has refused to fund a controversial whitewater rafting project proposed by Dublin City Council.
The council had sought €19 million from the Urban Regeneration and Development Fund, noting that the facility would be a major tourist draw, but the request was turned down.
It is estimated that the facility, which would be located at George's Dock on the North quays, would cost €25.4 million in total.
To discuss this we were joined by Councillor Danny Byrne of Fine Gael and Councillor Dermot Lacey of Labour.
