Dr. Anthony Fauci has dismissed the theory that COVID-19 originated in a lab in Wuhan, contradicting both US President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
In an interview with National Geographic, Fauci said there were strong indications that the coronavirus "evolved in nature and then jumped species."
Speaking on ABC News on Sunday, Mike Pompeo said he'd seen "enormous evidence" supporting the theory that the virus was manmade.
Cal Thomas and Marion McKeone discussed this and more from the United States, including Trump's reference to the number of US pharmaceutical firms in Ireland.
