Donald Trump provoked outrage last week when he suggested that the injection of disinfectant into the body should be looked into as a cure for COVID-19.
At yesterday's press briefing, the US President claimed his comments had been "sarcastic" when asked whether he took responsibility for the fact that some people had injected disinfectant.
