Dublin is facing three weeks of level 3 restrictions, with the Cabinet Committee on COVID-19 set to meet tomorrow morning to consider NPHET's recommendations.
Over half of yesterday's confirmed cases were in the capital, which NPHET has described as a 'disease reservoir'.
Will Dublin be cut off from the rest of the country?
To discuss this we were joined by Adrian Cummins, Chief Executive of the Restaurants Association of Ireland, Lorna Fitzpatrick, President of the Union of Students in Ireland, Dr Mary Favier, COVID Advisor to the Irish College of General Practitioners, and Dr Jack Lambert, Professor of Medicine and Infectious Diseases at the Mater and UCD School of Medicine.
