Pat Marry is a former Detective Inspector with An Garda Síochána.
Over the course of his career, he was involved in the investigation of some of Ireland's most notorious murder cases.
Although he says you never quite get used to dealing with death, a detective has to realise that it is their job to get the answers while always having utmost respect for the deceased and their family.
