Deliveroo is seeking a meeting with Gardaí after a number of its delivery cyclists were threatened, intimidated and assaulted in Dublin city centre over the weekend.
The service is also urging their cyclists not to accept orders if they have concerns about the location.
Gardaí are concerned about an apparent increase in knife crime in Dublin's north inner city in recent weeks, which have resulted in the deaths of a teenage boy and a woman in separate incidents.
Dublin city councillor Nial Ring and Labour Senator Marie Sherlock joined us to discuss the problem.
