A Kildare GP has now spoken out about the heart problems he has been suffering from, months after contracting COVID-19.
Adrian McGoldrick, former Chief Medical Officer of the Turf Club, tested positive for the virus in May but was asymptomatic.
He has since been diagnosed with myocarditis, or inflammation of the heart muscle, which is most commonly caused by viral infections.
