Rumours of a spike in COVID-19 cases in Skerries began circulating on social media after a video emerged showing a group of girls guessing which of their friends was going to get infected next.
Two sports clubs in Skerries have closed as a safety precaution, after hearing that a number of people in the town had tested positive in recent days.
