The children's birthday party industry survived the economic crash and continued to thrive, but that has all changed in recent months with the arrival of COVID-19.

Businesses that have been built around children's parties cannot operate the way they did before and have had to make some changes.

Anne Marie Maxwell is the co-founder of Kids Cook, a cookery school for children which runs birthday parties as well as school tours and cooking camps.

Damien Coyne is the owner of So Fresh Entertainment and KidsParties.ie, supplying props and games for parties.

We spoke to them both about how their businesses have adapted to the pandemic.
