Independent TD Michael Healy-Rae was not happy with Minister of State Josepha Madigan's suggestion earlier this week that The Kerryman newspaper should be renamed.
Speaking about the need for more gender-neutral language, Minister Madigan used the newspaper as an example, saying that "perhaps it's time for The Kerryman to become The Kerry Person?"
Michael Healy-Rae has defended the title, saying that The Kerryman is "comparable to the Bible" and describing a potential name change as "political correctness gone mad".
Is he right?
