Anthony Scaramucci, the former White House Director of Communications, has said he is putting together a team of former Trump cabinet officials to oppose the president's 2020 election bid.
Scaramucci made the comments in a CNN interview yesterday, having announced last week that he no longer supports Trump's re-election campaign.
He also described Trump as "unstable" and said that a "viable alternative" needs to be found.
Trump responded on Twitter by referring to Scaramucci as a "nut job" and saying that he "barely knew him," despite being the person who originally hired him.
Meanwhile, Trump also expressed his unhappiness with Fox News after the network published a poll showing a number of Democratic candidates beating him in 2020 match-ups, and a CNN poll has shown that Joe Biden currently has the edge over his party rivals.
Cal Thomas and Marion McKeone discussed all of this in our US slot.
