Almost half of new COVID-19 cases have come from outbreaks in workplaces, according to a new study by the CSO.

In the last couple of weeks, 46% of new cases have been linked to workplaces. Back in April, just 3% of outbreaks were occurring in this way.

Meanwhile the number of outbreaks in private homes has been on the increase for five straight weeks.

Priscilla Lynch, Clinical Editor of the Medical Independent, joined us for our daily coronavirus update with this and more, including the ESRI warning that "blaming and shaming" those who test positive may lead to fewer people presenting for testing.
