Alan Partridge made his long-awaited return to the BBC last night in This Time with Alan Partridge.
The comeback saw Steve Coogan's comic creation filling in on a One Show-style magazine programme and was watched by 3.2 million viewers.
The show has won five-star reviews from critics, including The Times, The Guardian and The Telegraph.
However, some fans were disappointed, saying that they barely laughed and that the format just didn't work.

Ed Smith and Alison Healy gave their verdict in our weekly TV slot.
They were also joined by Independent.ie journalist Amy Molloy, who talked about the Crimecall embargo on missing person footage.
