All in aid of the Irish Cancer Society
In the run up to Today FM's NATIONAL DAY OF DANCING event on April 30th, we've been hearing from people who are getting involved in our Dare To Care 2019 campaign.
Jennifer O'Connor from Wexford was in touch to tell us about what her and her workmates have planned for the day.
Jennifer works in Wexford County Council, where they have organised a huge event to support our BE A DANCER FOR CANCER.
They have a workforce of 1000 and are hoping for hundreds of staff members to come out and dance to Walk The Moon's 'Shut Up and Dance' in the County Hall at 11am on the 30th of April. The event is also open to the public so if there’s anyone in the area who wants to support they can.
It's simple, we want to help in the fight against this awful disease. And if that means showing off our awful dancing on the 30th of April, that's exactly what we'll do!
Our very own Phil Cawley will be attending on the day to report back from the event too!
And if Wexford doesn't suit ya, come join us in The National Stadium for this:
