The really are living their best life!
On October 3rd 2018, Westlife fans found that something, that one thing that makes it all complete, in this tweet:

Little did the four men know just how impactful the next 12 months of their lives would be.
Their ‘Twenty Tour’ sold a record 600,000 tickets across 27 cities and 13 countries (including 2 sold-out Croke Park gigs), their lead single 'Hello My Love" topped the iTunes charts, and now, the cherry on top, their new album Spectrum debuting at Number 1 in the Irish & UK charts:
#Spectrum is number one in the UK and Ireland!!! 💛 The biggest week one sales from any band this year! Massive thank you to everyone who bought the album around the world, we are so grateful to every single one of you. Shane, Mark, Kian & Nicky x pic.twitter.com/1Y8hGoSoYG

The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show caught up with Cian, Mark, Nicky and Shane for a long overdue chat about their phenomenal comeback and learn what their plans are for the future.
Spectrum includes the songwriting skills James Arthur, James Bay, long-time producer Steve Mac and of course, the flame-haired maestro himself, Ed Sheeran - who has had a huge impact on their new music.
When asked about a duet they would love to happen, Cian says; "there would be something quite cool to do something with Ed...he kinda almost feels like he could be one of the lads".
Iano was eager to know how the reunion first happened asking; "who made the first phone call?", to which Shane replies; "we (he and Cian) went out with our wives Gillian and Jodie and went for a few pints, then ended up having a couple more pints and then it was like "ah the Westlife days" and then ya kinda started reminiscing on everything, and it was amazing".
Fast forward 6 months after that and this happened;
We all met up in Nicky's house and it was the first time we were together properly in a room since Croke Park (2012 Farewell Tour), which was kinda mad
The lads also reveal what has been "the best moment of Westlife" and why this time round, they're doing things on their terms.
And sure we couldn't let them go without a Breakfast Show jingle:
With a ground-breaking Stadium Tour yet to come in 2020, which includes headlining Wembley Stadium (August 22nd) and Cork's Páirc Uí Chaoimh (August 28th &29th) for the very first time, they're only getting armed up.
