Did you know that today is officially International Hugging Day!
However, with lockdowns in place across the globe, physical hugs are not allowed.
Enter virtual hugs!
Two Limerick sisters have devised an app called Huggnote which allows you to send a virtual hug through the use of songs to express how you feel.
Inventors Jacqui and Perri Meskell joined The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show to tell us more about Huggnote, which is simply a web app, which means there’s nothing to download.
We're feeling all the love from Irish people 2day - so amazing to see so many of you using @huggnote to share some hugging vibes with loved ones across the globe 2day. Happy International Hugging Day everyone! https://t.co/iHp2MP73gx #worldhuggingday #virtualhugs #sayitwithlove https://t.co/64e7Yc44yq
