In our latest trip to primary schools across the country, Shauna from the Breakfast Show team headed off to meet the students from 2nd, 3rd and 4th class in the Presentation Primary School in Thurles.
She spoke to Ni-kola, Faye, Brianna, Lily, Roisin, Amy, Mill, Ava, Eyelish, Aoife, Eva, Julietta, Alannah, Julia, Lena, Sarah, Ava, Adel, Mollie, Poppy, Amy, Lolita, Shauna, Nancy and Sireen.
There was an article in the paper earlier in the week about the everyday worries that people have, things like a springing a leak in the roof, being late for work and someone cutting in front of you in traffic. So, Shauna asked the children what they think adults worry about and what the toughest thing about being an adult is. For those of you who feel your hard work and stress goes unnoticed, it does not…
And then there’s a certain story that the children of Ireland will have been following very closely over the past week or so and that is the news that our president, Michael D Higgins, has called for a ban on homework. So, Shauna asked the guys what they thought of that and you might be able to guess how they felt about it….
Thanks to Ms Ryan, who organised the visit, Ms Bohan, Ms Fanning, the principal Mr Healy and secretary Rosaleen.
