Paul Kelly's first impression of Ireland came from the idyllic postcards by John Hinde that his father sent to him while visiting his native Roscommon.
In his new book 'In Hinde Sight', Paul recaptures some of Hinde's iconic images in a side-by-side comparison which reveals both how much and how little parts of Ireland's landscape has changed.
Paul joined The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show this morning to talk about what the John Hinde postcards mean to him and how a personal project turned into two books.
He also spoke about tracking down a man who appeared in one of Hinde's shots over 50 years ago.
