BE A DANCER FOR CANCER
On Tuesday, April 30th, Today FM are hosting a NATIONAL DAY OF DANCING and we want YOU to get involved.
Our free event will take place in The National Stadium @11:45am (get tickets here), but we understand that date will not suit everyone, so we're asking you to set up your own dance events when you can. It can be in your school, workplace, local club, fitness class or even at home.
Simply pick a day that you're available and make it happen. Check out how to register on todayfm.com/daretocare
Victoria Supple is the founder of Victoria Walker Dance and Performing Arts School and has chosen to create a fun day of dancing on April 28th.
I have a dance school in Carrick on Shannon and plan to get as many people together to dance their hearts out this Sunday
Victoria wanted to do this at the weekend as that’s when most people will be free to meet and fundraise together!
So this Sunday pupils and parents will come together to be dancers for cancer.
Why did Victoria get involved?
The amount of people being diagnosed with cancer and who have been affected with cancer really hit me. We’ve had mothers within the dance school affected, and sadly it’s now just a part of life. The Irish Cancer Society need all the money they can get. As a Dance School, we couldn’t NOT get involved with Dare To Care this year.
So let's take some inspiration from Victoria and get our thinking caps & dance shoes on.
YOU CAN DONATE RIGHT NOW: Text ‘DARE’ to 50300 to donate €4 to the Irish Cancer Society
