Bertie's long-time buddy, Paddy "The Plasterer" Reilly, was appointed as the Fianna Fáil director of elections for his Dublin Central constituency. A decision that raised a few eyebrows.
The former plasterer, turned property tycoon, was the perfect man to help Ahern smooth things over...
