Galway man Steve Sweeney and his son Ulick decided to make the most of the March sunshine at the weekend.
They took their boat out for a spin and were sailing off the coast of Spiddal, in Galway Bay, when they witnessed an amazing sight.
A playful dolphin, who had been swimming around the boat, leapt right out of the water in front of the men, who captured the magnificent display on camera.
The video quickly attracted a lot of attention on social media, with some pointing out the incredible likeness to much loved Fungi, suggesting that perhaps that the Dingle dolphin had relocated to Galway.
