Trying to find love while on lockdown is nearly impossible.
So Shauna from The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show team took things into her own hands and created a Virtual Singles Night which she hosted on Zoom.
Here's how it all worked:
Following a massive response to Shauna's call out, heaps of applicants were whittled down to five potential couples.
Shauna matched them based on their interests and what type of person they told Shauna they were searching for.
Shauna then hosted the blind dates on Zoom and each couple went on a 30 minute date.
Shauna left the Zoom for this, shes's not a creep lads!
After the 30 minutes were up each couple was asked if they would like to swap numbers and incredibly 4 out 5 of the couples wanted to keep on chatting.
They swapped numbers, one couple kept on chatting into the night and a few more are doing Zoom drinks this weekend.
That's some success rate!
