What the puck?
The Topflight Today FM Ski Trip has been a craic-orientated pilgrimage for the past two decades and this January, we'll be jetting off to Austria yet again, to celebrate its 21st birthday.
Imagine 700 Irish people having the time of their lives on the slopes of Bad Hofgastein? Let's just say it gets pretty loose.
To help add another splash of colour, Ian Dempsey has invited Johnny B and Johnny Smacks (a.k.a 'The 2 Johnnies') to help entertain the masses in the new year.
The lads' slogan is "Drive it, Drive it, Drive it" and they certainly have their foot to the floor - they're flat out!
With millions of views on their YouTube channel, equally as many listeners to their 'The 2 Johnnies Podcast', sell out gigs across Ireland AND a new book just after being published, they're the busiest comedy duo in the land.
Both men popped into studio to chat to Iano about their book Dear Johnnies, described as "the agony uncles you never knew you needed":
Happy Publication Day to ‘Dear Johnnies’ by @the2johnnies! The agony uncles you never knew you needed, in this new book the lads solve all your problems, from housemates to having a baby, from moving to Dublin to the GAA. They chat about where the idea for the book came from and how they manage to juggle such a hectic schedule - a schedule that has now got a ski trip added to it.
Ian subtly gets around to asking the boys if they could fill the irreplaceable boots of Poc Fada host Paul Collins, who left the station earlier this year.
Watch out Bad Hofgastein...The 2 Johnnies are on the way!
