Noel Doherty, Founder of the Kilkenny based company, ND Sports Performance joined Conall on this week's Sunday Business Show to talk about their cloud-based hamstring assessment system products for hamstring injury prevention and improving athlete performance.
The system, which is called HamstringSolo has received a massive investment of €300,000 from the Halo Business Angel Network Syndicate.
The investment will lead to the creation of up to ten new jobs and will help HamstringSolo to expand into international markets including the UK and US.
Noel told Conall his own story of how in 2012, a hamstring injury prevented him from winning a third Intermediate Hurling All-Ireland with Kilkenny.
He then went on and used his own background in design and engineering to developed the HamstringSolo Pro exercise aid, which enables athletes to train effectively and improve their hamstring performance and resilience.
