This week on the Sunday Business Show Conall was joined by Yvonne Dolan and her son Shane to talk about their nutritional smoothie business, Blendi.
Smoothies were not the first idea Yvonne had in mind for her food product.
The business originally began as a healthier version of pot noodles but Shane soon informed his mother that these were "horrible".
To keep a healthy diet they began using the ingredients in smoothies instead and so their new business "Blendi" began.
To save both the time and waste of general smoothie making, Blendi provides users with packages of frozen dried whole pieces of fruit and vegetables, which can simply be added straight to the blender with a liquid.
The startup won big at the World Food Innovation Awards 2018 taking home the prize for "Best New Concept".

Yvonne told Conall that the business is all about staying nutritious and hydrated by providing people with "smoothies in seconds".
She also has big plans for the company and is currently looking at opportunities to take the brand international to markets like China.
