This week on the Sunday Business Show Conall was joined by John Phelan, National Director of the Halo Business Anel Network, also known as HBAN.
HBAN is an all-island organisation which works to increase the number of angel investors involved in investing in early stage companies and also supports the formation of new and existing angel networks, both regionally and internationally.
John told Conall that HBAN has forecast a 17% increase in angel investing in Irish start-ups as the economy grows in 2018, and believes it will reach €25 million per year by 2020.
The Network will be holding its national conference this year on Thursday, 8th February in the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham.
The conference is free for members and priced at €50 for non-HBAN members who want to see how the network works, connect with HBAN angels and listen to pitches from high-potential start-ups.
Tickets are available now. For more information about the event and to register check out their website on: http://www.hban.org/Conference
