Actress and writer Isobel Mahon is probably best known to Irish audiences for playing barmaid Michelle Haughey in Glenroe.
But she is also a successful playwright as well as a qualified psychotherapist.
Her new comedy play, Boom?, opens at Dublin's Gaiety Theatre on 26 March and runs through to Easter.
Isobel spoke about how the play was inspired by suburban life during the economic boom, her time in Glenroe and her daughter's premature birth.
