A lot of restaurants have faced a tough 2020, whether they had to close up for weeks at a time, or work out how to switch to take-away only. One restaurant who has taken the take-away option to a whole new level is Galway’s Dough Bros and Eugene joined Alison on the show to tell her all about it.
The Dough Bros had been working on an idea for a chilled product sold in supermarkets, and when the pandemic hit that idea was brought forward and they started making DIY pizza kits which could be delivered straight to your home!
Each DIY pizza kit has a wood fired pizza base that is vac pac'd, and a selection of Irish toppings so you can choose the perfect pizza to enjoy at home. They have been delivering nationwide for 6 weeks, and are now sending them to 48 countries around the world!
