Each week Mairead chats to someone about the current obsession in their lives, and this week it's the turn of Ciaran in Dublin who is absolutely fascinated by the spiralling house prices in Ireland.
Ciaran and his wife Melissa have been searching for a house to buy for 18 months, and while it's been difficult to find an affordable home, things have gone to another level over the last few months.
Covid restrictions have meant that viewings aren't possible, but that hasn't stopped the bids! Ciaran has collected some of the more bizarre prices he's seen and started an Instagram account called Crazy House Prices.
