As most of us try to just survive 2020, one Donegal man is attempting to become the first person to swim around the coast of Ireland and he joined Mairead for an update on his progress.
Henry O'Donnell is 500km into his 1,600km journey so far, and has been training for four years to take it on. He was initially supposed to start in June 2021, but when this year went the way it did and Henry ended up with little work, he decided to bring it forward.
Henry has been enjoying the wildlife on his swims so far, he has spotted blue sharks, basking sharks and lots of jellyfish! He is doing all of this to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society and also for Water Safety Ireland.
