After the latest address from Taoiseach Micheál Martin, we're still none the wiser as to when we'll see a definite end to lockdown. Many parents with school age kids at home are at the end of their tether, and Brendan in Sligo is taking matters in to his own hands.
He told Mairead that he has had enough and is resigning as a home-schooling teacher to his two sons, aged 9 and 10. Brendan said he doesn't want their only memories of this time to be bad ones, so they'll focus on having a bit of fun for the next couple of weeks until they're back in the classroom.
The teachers in they boys' school have been amazing and have always managed to be very creative with the homework, so Brendan made sure they knew it was nothing to do with them - it's purely a personal choice for his family.
Since sharing this decision, Brendan has heard from a lot of parents who are doing the same.
