It's not every day you get to speak to a rugby legend, so Mairead made the most out of her chat with Paul O'Connell. Paul is back on board with the Aldi Play Rugby campaign and told Mairead about why coaching pro is very fulfilling, but he has made the choice to work with kids instead.
They also looked back at his last game before retirement. Until then, Paul would always have rolled his eyes at the lads giving a thumbs up while being taken off in a stretcher because he thought they were being dramatic. But when he was in that position and his family were watching from home, he realised that's the best way to let them know he's ok.
According to a not so little bird (a.k.a. Donncha O'Callaghan), despite Paul O'Connell's Fear of God demeanor, he was actually the biggest messer on the team! However Donncha also shared some insider info about working with Mairead so she had to end the interview there...
